Bandol Red 2005

Château Pradeaux

Composition of wine :

- mourvedre  95%
- grenache 5%

Average age of vines :

- 35 years

Manual wine harvest :

- mourvedre on October 12 th, 2005
- grenaches on September 21 st, 2005

Production :

- 25 hl/hectar

Traditional wine making :

- light pressing without destemming
- fermentation in cement tanks thermoregulated between    28 ° and 30 ° for 12 days with 2 reassemblies
   without air a day
- malolactic fermentation finished at the end of
   November, 2005
- devatting at the begining of November

Maturing :

- the wine has been maturing in old oak casks (75hl)
   for 4 years
- there is no use of new wood
- no fining, no filtration
- bottling in November, 2009

Bandol Rosé 2009

Château Pradeaux

Composition of wine :

- mourvedre  50%
- cinsault 40%

Average age of vines :

- 25 years

Manual wine harvest :

- cinsault from 15th to 17th of September 2009
- mourvèdre from 18th to 21st September 2009

Production :

- 20 hl/hectar

Wine making :

- rosé is obtained by direct pressing
- cold washing during 24 hours at 14 - 16°
- alcoholic fermentation in tanks thermoregulated   between 16° and 18 ° during 2 weeks
- no malolactic fermentation because of low acidity
- racking and lodging in tanks
- filtration on May 8th, 2010
- bottling on May 27th, 2010
